Now Available: Art of Practicing Audio Recording
Exploring the topic that every musician knows well: practicing.
On May 20, 2025, Sinfonia Varsovia hosted The Art of Practicing seminar at the Nowa Miodowa Concert Hall in Warsaw. Led by violist Avri Levitan and joined by Vienna Philharmonic concertmaster Yamen Saadi, the event dived into the essential yet often-overlooked skill of daily musical practice. Part of the EU co-funded “1000+ Concerts” initiative, the seminar welcomed 100 students, young musicians, and educators for an interactive discussion on technical, mental, and emotional aspects of practicing routines.
The audio recording of the seminar is now available for you to listen to as part of Nowa Miodowa Concert Hall’s podcast series. Topics explored ranged from “What is our goal as performers?” to “How do we build technique that supports expression?”.
