Musethica Organisations
Musethica Germany
The Berlin-based association coordinates the sessions and festivals in Germany and houses Musethica’s International and Artistic Coordination Department.
Musethica Germany drives the development of academic and classical music sector collaborations and advances the artistic direction, with the goal of implementing Musethica as integral part of the curriculum at Higher Music Education Institutions in Germany and other countries. With five partnering HMEIs in 2025, Musethica Germany delivers the second-highest number of concerts per year after Musethica Israel, with about thirteen sessions in nine+ regions.
Musethica Israel
Music without limitations: Musethica Israel presents about 150 concerts per year to thousands of listeners all over Israel.
Founded in 2014, Musethica Israel reduces social and cultural disparities by providing classical music concerts to the widest possible audiences across Israel, with an emphasis on geographic and social peripheries and underserved populations.
Musethica Spain
Musethica’s story began in Zaragoza, where Musethica Spain has been sharing music since its foundation in 2012 by violist Avri Levitan and economics professor Carmen Marcuello.
Asociación Musethica has is particularly active in integrating the programme into Higher Music Education contexts across Spain. Since 2024, there has been an additional focus on underserved rural areas, aiming to bring music to places where cultural opportunities are often scarce. A chamber music festival has been held in Zaragoza every March since the very start, and today, Asociación Musethica organises around five Musethica Sessions along with the festival each year.
Musethica Sweden
Founded in 2016, Musethica Sweden organises up to fifty Musethica concerts annually in Stockholm, Norrköping, and surrounding areas, working closely with the local Norrköping Symphony Orchestra and the Royal College of Music (KMH) in Stockholm to reach a wide geographical region. The Chamber Festival Gotland has also been active for many years as part of this broader cultural landscape.
