Mariano García

Mariano García is a musician with a passion for music and pedagogy.

He is a professor at the University Luca School of Music and Arts in Leuven in Belgium where he teaches Master and postgraduate degree, as well as in ESMUC in Barcelona.

He has been a teacher for 11 years in the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Aragón in Zaragoza, Spain.

Since 2016 he has been a professor at the European University of Saxophone in the summer courses in Gap (France). He was a professor at the Wiener Akademie Musik, Austria. He participates in several international festivals as a teacher and concert performer: at the Andorra Sax Fest since its beginnings, at Vienna Sax Fest (Austria), Birmingham School of Music, Royal Conservatoire of Brussels, Panticosa (Spain) as well as several cities in Portugal, Italy and China. Also he has been invited by prestigious American Universities.

Mariano García is required as a jury in the most important International Competitions. He forms the chamber duo AniMa DUO together with the excellent pianist Aniana Jaime with whom he has recorded three CDs praised by critics and public. He is a Selmer artista.
