Carole Petitdemange

Especially attracted by chamber music, Carole Petitdemange currently works with different ensembles and renowned instrumental soloists from the international music scene and develops different projects as concertino.

She is a founding member of the Ardeo Quartet who, after winning prizes in international competitions such as the Concours International of Quatuor à Cordes in Bordeaux or the Concorso Internazionale per Quartetto d'Archi Paolo Borciani, holds a prestigious career.

Carole Petitdemange completed her formation as a musician with Jean Jacques Kantorow and Pierre-Laurent Aimard at the National Conservatory of Music of Paris where she unanimously obtained the End of Degree Extraordinary Prize in the specialty of violin. Later she continued her training in Salzburg, Basel, Madrid and Boston with teachers as Rainer Schmidt (Hagen Quartet), Ana Chumachenko, Joseph Silverstein, Myriam Fried, Alfred Brendel, Ferenc Rados, Ralf Gothoni, among others. She has won several international awards, including the International Music Award awarded to the trio formed with Pablo Ferrández and David Kadouch, or the Rising Stars tour in 2014.

Carole Petitdemange has been a soloist and concertino with the Ensemble Tre Ciento Sei, Camerata de France, Davos Festival Chamber Orchestra, Orchestre du Languedoc Roussillon, Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire, Orchestre de Poche Paris, the String Orchestra of the Royal Conservatory Superior of Music of Madrid, etc. She frequently participates in festivals such as Beethoven Festspiel (Germany), Kuhmo Festival (Finland), Pâques de Deauville Festival (France), Musicades de Lyon (France), Barga Festival (Italy), Great Lakes Festival (USA), Prussia Cove (GB). She also collaborates with prominent artists such as Renaud Capuçon, Bertrand Chamayou, Pablo Ferrández, Antoine Tamestit, Evgeny Koroliov, Quiroga Quartet, Thomas Demenga, Jérôme Pernoo, Ana María Valderrama, Alain Meunier, Vladimir Mendelssohn, Mario Brunello, Andrei Korobeinikov, Víctor del Valle, Aaron Pilsan, Luis Fernando Pérez, David Kadouch or Reto Bieri.rte de jurados en concursos internacionales.
